Hey guys! I decided to do a little something fun this week and announce on my Instagram that I was doing a little Q + A here on my blog and the response was overwhelming! I can’t believe so many of you want to know about my life, haha but here it goes.
What is your favorite show?
Sex and the City, for sure. I will watch reruns anytime they are on & whenever I’m feeling down you better believe I am playing that movie, pouring a glass of wine & crying my little heart out, lol. There is nothing like a good cry and releasing endorphins to make you feel better
How do you balance it all?
Um, well.. I’m not sure if I balance it all.. I do try my best but trust me there are days that my house is turned upside down or that I am so focused on one thing that something else will be or feel neglected. I tend to be hard on myself because one of my biggest goals is feeling like I am doing great in all aspects. Sometimes life does get the best of me cause I am human, but I am also learning to take days one at a time.
Who is your favorite blogger?
Um, @liiraven hands down! There are so many bloggers that I love but just can’t fully relate to because they are single with no kids or we don’t have much in common. But Lissette is like me in 10 years hahaha. She is happily married with 2 beautiful babies and she’s not a regular mom she’s a cool mom, sorta like me! Make sure you guys check her out and show her some love!
What made you want to start blogging?
Honestly, I’ve wanted to start a blog for years I jut wasn’t sure how. Then a little angel came into my life and pointed me in the right direction. She pushed me, encouraged me & listened to all my crazy antics and I will forever love her for that. Can you guys guess who I am talking about?!
Are you an extrovert or introvert?
Honestly I am a total introvert but I am working on me being more social because to blog and be on social media, uh hello you have to be social. In the last few months I have already made great connections with so many amazing women it definitely gave me the extra push and confidence I needed to continue building amazing relationships.
Where do you live?
While I won’t be putting my address on here, I can tell you that I am a true Jersey girl, born & raised. We live in a quiet suburban town in North Jersey that I absolutely love.
How long have you and your husband been together?
I have been dealing with my hubby for 10 years, I can’t say officially together because the first year was a little wishy washy, if you know what I mean ladies. Officially we have been together for 9 years, we tied the knot on May 5, 2017 with Max as our little ring bearer!
What has been your biggest challenge through out your life so far?
This is a tough one to answer because tough times are always creeping on you, but I have to say the longest on going challenge has been learning how to grow as a person and not feeling guilty about it. I had my first son very young (21) and dove into mommy mode with out a second thought. You live and you learn & I would do anything for my children but the second time around I knew how important self care & self was for my own sanity and I knew where to draw the line much better than with Max. I’m 27 now and I have a better idea of the woman I am working towards becoming, but I continue to grow, learn & persevere every single day.
Do you enjoy being a stay at home mom?
Of course! If I didn’t I wouldn’t be a SAHM. I’m not okay with missing school plays, or other people taking care of my kids when they have fevers or being unable to pick them up after school. But I will say that I am looking for more, what that “more” is, I’m not sure but there are definitely days when I’m like “What the hell am I doing, I have so much to give this world” but my babies always come first, ALWAYS and I am okay with giving them my all for the time being. I know that before I know it, they will be moving out and I will be longing for these moments.
How old are you?
I don’t remember who asked this but, how dare you ask a woman her age, hahahaha. Lol, but no… I’m 27. My birthday is July 2nd & I’m the truest definition of a Cancer. 30 is slowly creepin’ up on me and I’m not sure what I am going to do make me feel better about that, lol. How did you guys feel about turning 30? It should be NBD, right?
There it is guys, I hope to continue to do these Q + A’s every so often as I continue to grow along side you all.
