
I think it’s safe to say that I am pro caffeine. I drink 1-2 cups of coffee a day but would like to change that. With 30 right around the corner, I am always looking for ways to improve my health and keep it on track before it is too late. So, I made a decision to come up with this detox tea and voila it was amazing. With only a few ingredients you get a whole of nourishing components that will give you the boost to kick start your day with productivity!
Green Tea Detox Recipe
Prep Time: 5 Min. Cook Time: 20 Min. Total Time: 25 Min.
Ingredients:
- 15-20 Mint Leaves
- 5-6 Slices of Fresh Ginger
- 6 Cups of Water
- 1/2 Lemon
- Loose Green Tea
- 6 Cups of Water
- Raw Honey (optional)
What To Do?
Bring 6 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, add mint leaves, fresh ginger, lemon & green tea. Let steep for 20 minutes. I suggest that you strain the tea before drinking because there will be a lot of loose ingredients floating around. Let cool & drink. You can drink either hot or add a few ice cubes and drink as iced tea. You can also add more lemon and/or honey depending on your taste buds.
